Help Form Disciples

Saturday, May 7 - Sri Lanka

In an area where Christianity is viewed as a foreign religion linked with former colonial occupation, local missionaries are breaking up hard soil to plant gospel seeds. They share the message of salvation at a rubber plantation where many of the laborers and their families have put their faith in Christ. Amid pandemic lockdowns, other workers are praying over the phone with contacts they’ve made, leading to healing and trust in Christ’s atoning sacrifice. Much of the ensuing discipleship takes place via Zoom. Local missionaries need donations to carry out such evangelism and discipleship initiatives. Pray the Word of the Lord would take root and grow in more areas.
